Turn the alarm clock down to low

Because my brain is working very slow

It's going off, a deja vu

Ahhh wakin’ up is hard to do

Last ev’ning when I went to bed

I remember feeling I was dead

It might have been that pack of brew

That’s makin’ wakin’ hard to do

I find that wakin’ up is hard to do

When I get to bed it is two

It (just) can’t be morning again

Instead of getting up I wanna stay right here in bed again

So please don’t make a lot of noise

Because I’ve made myself a cozy choice

The bed is warm, my feet are too

Wakin’ up is hard to do
