I’ll be thin at Christmas

If I drop twelve pounds

I’ll be svelte beneath the belt

As hopeful as that sounds

No Thanksgiving turkey

Salad’s fine for me

I’ll be eating lightly

Of this I guarantee

I’ll be thin at Christmas

Exercise is key

I’m the one to take a run

To get the Christmas tree

Christmas Eve will find me

Narrowed at the gut

I’ll be thin for Christmas

Especially round my butt
